Provincetown comes alive early between 4-7pm with the traditional Tea Dance at the Boat Slip on the waterfront. Thousands gather on the waterfront deck around the swimming pool to take in the scenery (and the views) while enjoying their favorite cocktail concoction delivered. After the buzz of Tea Dance wears off and the lights go down on Provincetown Harbor, the lights come up on Commercial and the street comes alive with entertainers, drag queens, comedians and actors all pitching their nightly shows.
Whether you're looking to dance the night away, sip a cocktail by the pool while overlooking the beach, or take in a live performance, Provincetown is sure to keep you busy and entertained. Many famous acts come to Provincetown during the summer season. You can find Commercial Street glowing with playbills, with a variety of nightly performances. For the more adventurous, the evening ends at Spiritus Pizza between 1-2am where people gather and take in the scenery flowing into Commercial Street from the bars and nightclubs.
